Konstantin Korotkov, PhD

Professor of Computer Science and Biophysics at ITMO University (Saint Petersburg) and Senior Researcher at the Saint Petersburg Research Institute of Physical Culture and Sport. President of the International Union of Medical and Applied Bioelectrography (IUMAB) and Director of Bio-Well Companies. He holds 17 patents in biophysics and has authored several books, including Light After Life (1998), Human Energy Field Study with GDV Bioelectrography (2002), and The Energy of Consciousness (2012). He developed the Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV) technique — based on the Kirlian effect — which forms the foundation of the Bio-Well camera for real-time visualization of the human energy field.

The Science of What You Can't See

Bio-Well captures the ultra-weak photon emissions from your fingertips in a 60-second scan, then maps them to organs and systems using principles rooted in traditional Chinese meridian theory and modern biophysics. The result is a real-time snapshot of your energy field — measurable, repeatable, and backed by three decades of peer-reviewed research from institutions across four continents.

Research You Can Measure

Every Bio-Well device traces back to a single principle — if you can measure it, you can understand it. Professor Korotkov's career has been defined by turning that principle into published, peer-reviewed, reproducible science. Here is what three decades of that work looks like.

17 Patents in Biophysics

400+ Peer-Reviewed Studies

30+ Doctoral Dissertations

Research-Backed Methodology

Calibrated Global Standard

Cloud-Based Real-Time Analysis

Non-Invasive 60-Second Scan

"Everyone who started working with it found it interesting. In all these years there has not been a single negative response about the operation of the device."

The Journey From Laboratory to Global Platform

1995

First GDV Device

The First GDV Device
Korotkov's team builds the first Gas Discharge Visualization device — a digital evolution of the Kirlian effect. The hand-built prototype is immediately acquired by researchers in England, sparking international interest.

2002

Clinical Validation

Clinical Validation Expands
Publication of Human Energy Field: Study with GDV Bioelectrography consolidates years of clinical research conducted at Saint Petersburg Pavlov Medical University and institutions across Russia.

2012

Bio-Well Launch

Founding Bio-Well
The Bio-Well camera is developed, absorbing the best principles of GDV technology into a modern, cloud-connected platform with real-time software updates and device calibration across every unit worldwide.

2017

Ecosystem Expansion

Beyond the Camera
Launch of the Bio-Cor EHF therapy device and publication of The Energy of Health. The Sputnik environmental sensor and Bio-Well Element expand the platform into space monitoring and material analysis.

2020

Global Recognition

Proof on Every Continent
More than 30 doctoral dissertations defended worldwide using GDV/Bio-Well methodology. Research spans medicine, psychology, sports science, oncology, and consciousness studies across four continents.

2024

Definitive Guide

The Practitioner's Blueprint
Korotkov publishes The Principles of Bio-Well Analysis — a comprehensive reference combining technical methodology with an atlas of clinical cases for practitioners working with Bio-Well technology.

2026

Barcelona Congress

Where Science Meets Spirit
The International Congress "Science, Information, Spirit" convenes July 4–6 in Barcelona, bringing together scientists and practitioners to present the latest findings in biophysics and human energy research.
